The Senior ETL Developer is responsible for designing, planning, implementing and maintaining data extract transform and load integration interfaces between the clients (SaaS) data platform and other less advanced remote data systems. They possess experience across the ETL technology spectrum, from XML Structured Content gathered or transmitted via Web Services, to classic mainframe ready multirecord fixed width flat files transmitted through direct machine connection. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent SQL and data profiling skills and have exposure to evolving and new technology for handling structured and unstructured datasets of all sizes. Key Responsibilities: Active Development • Be responsible for Full Lifecycle Development. • Design, code and debug application; analyze code and requirements; perform software review and unit testing. • Complete performance tuning, improvement and balancing. • Document software functionality. • Integrate software with existing systems. • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation. • Maintain standards compliance. Requirements • Bachelor’s of Science degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field. • 8+ years experience working in similar technical environment. • ANSI 92 SQL Development (7+ yrs). • SQL Server Integration Services (3+ Years). • SQL Server Administration (5+ Years). • Experience with Multi-Record Type Flat File Generation from OLTP Database Source System. Experience with some of the following technologies: • Net Framework 3.5/4.0 • NHibernate • SVN, CruiseControl, Bamboo • Pervasive Data Integrator • LogiXML • SQL Server Reporting Services ADHOC Models • BCP • XML Schema, XPath, XQuery, XSLT • Knowledge of Agile development process and experience with Rally is a plus. • Exceptional problem-solving skills. • Creativity to design and code applications that work well for end users.
