Education: - BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent training required - 8+ years of real-world experience in related fields. - 2+ years of real-world experience in mobile space. Skills requirement: - Expert level knowledge of Android’s SDK, device API’s and development tools including Java and ADT tools (2+ years) - Expertise in development and implementing mobile applications with standard UI components, creating custom UI components, connecting applications to Back End services - Experience developing custom widgets with flexibility and reusability in mind - Experience with integrating Maps in a UI preferred - Experience shipping applications through Google app stores preferred - Experience in XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and other web technologies preferred - Experience with source control (SVN, Git) preferred - Good knowledge of HTML5/CSS 3 and integration within a native app preferred - Good knowledge of SOA, Web Services methodologies using REST or SOAP based API’s preferred - Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, rapidly changing priorities, and leading junior developers - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with clients at all levels - Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.
