IBM Mainframe Storage Engineers . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Customer Need: Residents will be working full time in Martinsburg to conduct migrations from ZOS IBM Mainframe to EMC DLM using DTS Residents will be working alongside other Residents in the Migration Team One Resident will start as soon as IRS Clearance is granted (4-8 weeks) to begin the Active Data migration A second Resident is needed to begin work 90 days later; for the Archive Data migration The successful SAN Engineer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Minimum 3+ years of primary assignment administering Symmetrix / Clarion Minimum 3+ years of SAN management experience Mainframe skills: ZOS IBM Storage skills: DLM (will be nice to have as well as Data Domain experience Software skills: DTS (not required, but preferred); JCL Mainframe scripting, and CA1 Tape Management Catalog Other Skills: Migration Planning and Execution Project Management (nice to have) Desired Qualifications: Experience with management tools (ECC, Storage Scope, Navisphere, StorageWorks, Workload Analyzer, etc.) Experience with Brocade switches in SAN fabric (DCX, 48000, and 4100) Experience with Symmetrix DMX-4, VMAX, and CLARiiON Cx380 and Cx4960 Exposure to Cisco MDS 9500 Series SAN Switches Exposure to HP StorageWorks EVA 5000 and HSG80 Exposure to Celerra and NetApp HA6030 Exposure to IBM TS3500 tape Libraries and IBM 3592 tape drives Exposure to tape management systems (TSM, NetBackup, and Networker) Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America without sponsorship. The selected Engineers must be able to pass a rigorous financially based background check.
