This position provides project leadership for assigned business unit(s) and/or company-wide initiative(s) by managing multiple, cross functional, large-scale projects that will result in significant process improvement, cost savings, and/or revenue enhancements for the Company. Key responsibilities include developing project strategies, designs and goals for the implementation of business requirements. Leads project team members and budget process through the application of broad knowledge, effective facilitation and clear direction. The candidate manages the synthesis of detailed technical analysis to advise and influence Sr. Management on consequential strategic initiatives. This position may have management responsibilities for lower level project managers and project support associates. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * 7 years related business or analytical experience, including 5 years managing large-scale projects * Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently * Ability to persuade, influence others, and resolve issues * Proven ability to work both independently and as a member of a team to prioritize work * Skilled operating a computer in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, and Access * Proven organization skills to multitask and manage projects at varying levels of complexity and completion while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines * Effective communication skills both verbal and written * Demonstrated ability to analyze and effectively apply concepts in project management * Ability to analyze and effectively apply business concepts in healthcare, based on needs of assignment * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team * Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and manage a budget * Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
