STRUTS JSP JSF JAVA SERVER FACES Stamford, CT STRUTS JSP JSF JAVA SERVER FACES Major firm located in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking two full time Web Application Developer/Channel Developers (Front End Developers) to be responsible for the development of applications for various projects and enhancements for the firms branded web sites using front end web technologies. The developers will work throughout the entire development lifecycle including concept, requirements and design, production, testing, and operational hand off to the firms application operations teams. The ideal candidates should possess the ability to research and solve application issues on critical production applications, manage processes and associate relationships in multiple locations including software development lifecycle management. Areas of Focus: The ideal candidate should consider themselves an expert in web technologies such as JSP, JSF, J2EE, STRUTS FRAMEWORK, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Hands on working knowledge with a high level object-oriented programming language is highly desirable. In depth understanding of industry best practices, legacy browser challenges and emerging technologies will set this candidate apart from others. This candidate should enjoy engaging other developers, generating ideas, designing solutions and building them. The team works closely with our business stakeholders so effective verbal and written communication is a necessity. Ability to research and solve application issues on critical production applications, manage processes and associate relationships in multiple locations, complete software development life cycle management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Technical Requirements: 5-10 years of hands on design and front end development experience Technologies warranted for this position will include: Java, Struts, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSTL, JSF, JSP, Web content management systems Interview process: Either a telephone and then an in person interview, the in person interview will consist of a technical assessment test and a coding test. All prospective candidates are required to submit two professional references. This position pays $100,000 per year plus a 20% performance based bonus plus and an outstanding benefits package. All candidates should possess a green card, ead or be of citizenship, however the firm will take steps to transfer an H-1B Visa for the ideal candidate. This position is on site five days a week.
