Energy Education Advocates Contract Opportunities Location: Los Angeles Travel: Required   Looking for Energy Education Advocate to work with for Client Company and partner with K-12 school district customers to educate students.   This is a great opportunity to work with a major energy company and educate the public.  You will get extensive training with client company to understand their Energy Education Program which includes working with the Client’s Energy Coach who will train the individuals such as teachers on how to deliver curriculum supplements that are focused on the areas of energy and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: ·         Sales support: Support Group’ sales team as they develop projects for K-12 school district customers. The Envision developer is a subject matter expert in the area of education and challenges faced by K-12 school districts. ·         Energy Coach Selection: Once a contract is secured, you will work with the school district to select an Energy Coach from within their ranks. ·         Energy Coach Training: After the Coach is selected, you will be responsible for training them in the areas of energy management, curriculum support, student and teacher engagement, etc. ·         On-going Support: provide support to the Energy Coaches in their region, provide on-going training, connecting the School District Client Company, and also with connecting the District with other k-12 Districts. Key Qualifications: ·         Bachelor Degree in a related area ·         Experienced working with school (K-12) education administration is a plus ·         Must be customer focused, great communicator and a credible professional ·         Energetic, Team-oriented and organized ·         Skilled with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Outlook ·         Ability to learn new technology quickly ·         HVAC knowledge is a plus ·         Ability to travel up to 75% ·         Excellent written communication skills
