- Troubleshoot error messages and suggest layer-2 / layer-3 switch configurations. - Engineer should have sound knowledge of Routing/Switching and cisco wireless. - Support Core, distribution and access layers switches. - Configure, analyze, and troubleshoot highly complex networks - Use Layer 2 Cisco’s Switching platform knowledge (e.g. system architecture, switching and forwarding issues) in Catalyst Switches C4000, C3700, C2900, and other Layer 2 devices - Manage and solve network tickets and escalations in a timely manner - Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. - Present ideas and interact within TAC and development teams at peer level Experience: - 4-6 years of experience and worked on complex network environment which includes high end routers, switches Complete CCNP (Routing & Switching) is desired. - Skilled in BGP, EIGRP, OSPF. - Excellent on verbal and written English communication Lexicon Staffing has been voted by the Portland Business Journal as one of Portland's Top Staffing Firms for 2009, 2010 - 2012.
