Our client, located in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Performance Lead to perform the following duties: Prioritizes, scopes, estimates, and manages the team(s) responsible for the development and implementation of AD projects Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members Includes people management responsibilities as well as team budget responsibilities Ensures team and associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines. This individual may lead several teams that may cross project boundaries, but typically will be responsible for both deliverables and projects. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in managing performance engineering projects 5+ years of experience in any load testing tool (Load Runner preferred) Good working Knowledge of the following Monitoring tools Site Scope, Wily Introscope & Other J2EE monitoring tools Experience in performance testing Web-based, Middleware and Mainframe applications on different environments 5+ years of awareness of Software Development Life Cycle, agile processes etc 2+ years of experience in web applications using Java/.NET based technologies Excellent skills in effective communication, people management and ability to articulate complex IT concepts to management and status reporting Ability to manage offshore/onshore resources Strong experience in understanding test plans, project plans, Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents, Testing Overview, Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities. 5+ years of managing a small team of perf engg resources. Work allocation of resources in the areas of load testing, capacity planning, diagnostics, monitoring, profiling etc. Additional Skill Sets is a plus PMP/Scrum master certification Good understanding of banking/financial industry Prior experience of handling web app infrastructure design/tuning Understanding of network gear such as firewalls, loadbalancers, caching devices, CDN etc
