This large-scale government department located in the City is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a number of Applications Development Projects, specifically COTS or Service Provider Upgrade projects. You will have a proven track-record of building effective working relationships across IT and business to meet planned objectives as well as demonstrated project management skills to document, track and manage multiple, complex activities in an IT Applications Development environment. You will possess the ability to provide timely, relevant and accurate project status reports and project documentation as well as the ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple stakeholders. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present to senior executives/governance bodies is also a necessity. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver exciting and relevant projects and to join a well-known department ion a long term contract with excellent extension possibilities.
