Description My app is a modern spin on an old fashioned ANSI/VT100 terminal targeted at airline crew members — pilots and flight attendants. (Just about complete. Yay!) Yes, airline DBMS systems still generate terminal streams. Ridiculous but true. I'd like an app icon to portray the contrast between modern airline jet technology and old fashioned terminal technology. I've thought about it a lot and hunted through thousands of canned retail images for ideas. I just don't have the artistic skills nor the time to pull it off. I'm thinking about an image or silhouette of a modern airliner in the background (like a 787) with an image of an old teletype key in the foreground. I though about an image of an old terminal in the foreground but it doesn't portray the antiquated technology as much as a teletype key. :) The other option would be an image of an old ANSI/VT100 terminal with a modern airliner on the terminal's screen.
