We are seeking a WordPress Developer and Web and Graphic Designer to manage the design, development and upkeep of the online resources of a government agency.  The ideal candidate will have experience with Web design and related media, as well as a keen interest in the health industry. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: ·         Maintain content associated with the online presence of the organization ·         Routinely redesign Web sites to implement emerging technologies ·         Liaison to web consultants for web coding ·         Apply user testing, information architecture and rapid prototyping to improve navigability and accessibility ·         Use professional multimedia software to develop effective solutions for online communications projects ·         Manage several ongoing projects in a fast-paced, news-cycle driven working environment ·         Maintain the content strategy through web, print, and social media ·         Assist departments with print and multimedia projects Job Requirements: ·         Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in design, Computer Programming, or a related field<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> ·         Minimum 2 years of experience in PHP programming, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript ·         Experience with PHP 5.x beneficial ·         Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using best practice & de-facto standard plug-ins ·         Familiar with responsive design web strategy ·         Familiar with iOS application development a plus ·         Understanding of web best practices, marketing and strategy ·         Ability to write clean, standards-compliant code that is cross-browser compatible. ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills ·         Advanced web programming a plus ·         Knowledge of print production (Adobe InDesign, color management, file preparation) ·         Passion for visual design and creativity About Futrend Futrend Technology, Inc. is a rapidly growing innovative business and technology solutions provider.
