Wireless HW Test Engineer 156804
Project Description: Hardware subsystem verification of wireless hardware products in the areas of wireless performance and product characterization. Focus will be on post-silicon validation of Bluetooth wireless devices. Daily Responsibilities: - Defining special test requirement based on Bluetooth and WiFi standards - Developing utilities to automate wireless chip and hardware platform testing and characterization - Executing automated design verification systems to characterize wireless chipset functional performance. - Analysis of technical issues, such as system performance analysis, to isolate issue within hardware, system, or software - Compiling data and defining changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, test processes, and new testing requirements. - Data collection and analysis of test results. Presentation of relavent data per test case. - Working closely across functional teams (SW, FW, RF, Systems) to develop comprehensive test and verification deliverables Necessary Skills (Must Have): - 3-5 yrs minimum experience in hardware test automation - Hands on experience in development and execution of automated test utilities with experience in characterization of wireless hardware platforms - Basic understanding of the use and automated control of test equipment utilized in wireless hardware characterization Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): Direct experience with Bluetooth and WiFi. Hands on with HW repair, soldering, rework, ECO`s. Hands on with manual operation of RF test equipment. Keywords: Hardware Engineering
