I'm using Php Live Chat (download version) on my site. I need to adjust the php pages to do the following: 1) Add Phone field to pre-chat window; tie that into database so that the phone number is saved (like the other fields such as name and email) to the database. It should be displayed in the pre-chat window whether the operator is online of offline. Display the phone number in operator window after user goes into chat with operator. Also, if user requests an email of the chat transcript to be emailed (an option that is available on the pre-chat window), make sure to include phone in the emails. 2) Remove (or hide) the Question box from the pre-chat window so that it's not required prior to live chat. Remove the Question from the emails that get sent out. So the only 3 required fields in the pre-chat window are: name, email, phone and nothing more. 3) If user has already visited the site and started a chat with operator, then their email is in the database. We need to query the database to determine if user has previously chatted with the operator and if so, after clicking the Chat button (which is currently on the pre-chat window) they should start the chat but inside another directory off of the root - in other words... www.[domain]/chat_. I do not want the user to re-enter their name, email and phone again in the pre-chat window but go directly into chat window. And of course if it is there first time chatting (so the user's email does not exist in db), then keep them in the current directory (www.[domain]/chat) and open the chat window. The reason for #3 is this: I have Google Analytics tracking set up but don't want to apply duplicate chats to my reporting but display data on first time users only.
