Sr Finance Business Analyst SUMMARY: Business Policies Workstream - Manage JV AB Policy and Acknowledgement Process - Manage Vendor Contract Agreements: AB Amendment Business Processes Workstream - Expense Processing As-Is/To-Be workshops with Stakeholders - Risk Assessment Fin Systems and Reporting Workstream - World Check Risk Matrix - World Check Architecture within SPE Fin Landscape Business Processes Workstream - duties *Work with the Finance community and other business areas to understand current processes related to managing expenses and internal controls: reimbursements and payments to employees, vendors, business associates and government officials. -Educate SPE’s Finance organization and other business areas on the Anti-Bribery Program initiative -Participate and facilitate process workshops -Effectively manage changes and conflict during data gathering processes -Document workshops sessions and action items -Ensure stakeholders obtain required information for appropriate follow up *Organize and synthesize large amounts of information provided by stakeholders *Articulate as-is processes via written documentation *Complete thorough review and analysis of existing business; determine opportunities for process and control improvement and automation -Understand as-is strengths and weaknesses -Resolve ambiguities and conflicting business processes and controls -Provide analytical and decision making support -Ensure process and control improvements are in line with AB program requirements and Corporate accounting principles *Recommend formal business solutions and formulate changes in process and procedures; recommend the use of systems and resources -Prioritize process improvement requirements effectively based on appropriately identified factors -Identify and communicate risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope -Proactively identify any issues concerning process or procedural limitations to support program requirements *Assist with developing, implementing and institutionalize detailed solutions to modify and/or improve business processes and/or resolve audit and control impediments Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related disciplines Required Skills Previous minimum 5 years experience as a financial business analyst Demonstrated understanding of the basic principles of corporate finance Work independently and as a part of a team under general supervision Experience working with business partners to create and deliver financial process improvements Ability to work in a matrix organization and across divisions and business units effectively Excellent communication skills Excellent Excel skills, comfortable with large amounts of information Proactive problem solving Highly flexible Adept at managing expectations and able to set and adjust priorities as needed while working in a fast-paced environment of continuous change
