We are currently interviewing for the following direct hire position: eCommerce Project Manager Contract to hire Richardson , TX Job Description The eCommerce Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product lifecycle and the management of ecommerce related products from product definition and requirements to deployment. This will include creating product charters, product plans/ schedules and communication in a creative, ever-changing environment and being responsible for business requirements definition for proposed products. You will work with all of the various departments within the company to gain their perspective on the impact and benefits of the proposed solution on that department. An additional element of the position will be the documentation and analysis of existing business processes. Responsibilities Communicates effectively with business partners to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with product management. Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges in retail. Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Manages departmental expectations effectively. Manages the process of innovative change. Develops relationships with client department personnel that foster ties. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Consistently delivers high-quality services to our internal partners. Works with personnel from various departments to identify required changes. Creates and executes product work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Possesses understanding of information as it flows through the ecommerce business processes. Understands strengths and weaknesses of internet technologies. Familiar with internet and mobile trends and ecommerce features. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a product and scope. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Minimizes our exposure and risk on product. Ensures product documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Communicates business and technical requirements in a manner suitable to the audience. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of Product Lifecycle Management experience in an ecommerce environment. Working knowledge of software development technologies and practices. Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum project management methodologies. Working knowledge of MS Product, MS Share Point and MS Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills.
