As a member of the Customer Engineering Organizational Development and Training team, the candidate will help design, integrate, and maintain internal learning systems comprised of websites, collaboration sites, and an internal learning management system (Plateau). Candidate will assist in providing instructional design support, assisting in the use of technology, audio, video, and graphical media to develop training assets and programs. You will be responsible for the following: Aid in development and integration of training delivery websites and collaboration sites. Create training curriculum and assignment profiles in the Learning Management System. Manage notifications provided by the Learning Management System to ensure the right messages are sent at the right time to foster clear communication without spamming users. Record training and prepare training reports for upper management. Designing and developing training programs, course outlines, job aids, and other support materials. Support training material production use of technology, audio, video, and graphical media Required skills: SharePoint site customization and administration, including creating custom webparts. Working with other programmers and web designers. Experience developing dynamically generated web content. Intermediate programming experience with one or more of the following: JavaScript, CSS, XML, xHTML, PHP, ASP.NET Basic - Intermediate knowledge of SQL, experience with creating reports and writing SQL queries. Some programming experience with other programming/scripting language: C/C++, Perl, Python, bash shell scripting. Basic ability to create graphics required for sites (Fireworks, PhotoShop/Illustrator, Paintshop Pro or equivalent). Some experience with video/audio editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Captivate, Camtasia Suite, Audacity. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience in instructional design and able to create professional documentation. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience with Plateau, Success Factors Learning, Saba, or other LMS (Learning Management) or Talent Management (TMS) systems a plus. Experience working on tasks through an electronic work list/ task assignment and tracking system such as JIRA or Salesforce. Highly motivated and organized, able to multi-task, and remain focused in a fast moving environment. Meticulous attention to detail.
