Microsoft .NET/ C# Developer Looking for a senior level C#.Net Software Engineer. This position is located in Kansas City, MO. This position requires the ability to pass a background investigation with USDA** **This position is located at a U.S. government facility and requires U.S Citizenship or Permanent Resident status to qualify** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing and deployment of enterprise wide web-based or web service based or reports based solutions for adding , editing and reporting on Risk Management Agencys data, which is related to farmers insurance. Analyzes and documents software requirements, prepares design specifications, develops software, creates unit tests and deploys the code to different environments. Responsible for developing software code to standards, meeting requirements on schedule and with minimal defects. Ability to work within a large software development team in a collaborative environment. Designs, develops and engineers software solutions based upon client requirements. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Develops technical documentation detailing the project design parameters and to support the software lifecycle process. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of .NET/ C# Development experience (additional work experience, training or education may be substituted in lieu of degree). Comprehensive understanding of object orientated concepts and development life cycle. Good understanding of underlying software development principles and practices. Strong development experience with .Net Framework and C#. Experience working with MVC, TFS, and Visual Studio.NET for systems development. Experience in developing web based applications using Jscript. JQuery, AJAX . Knowledge of SQL and the ability to understand/work with development in the data, business logic, or presentation layers is required. ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience working in an Agile/ Scrum environment. Microsoft Certifications in .Net / C#. Microsoft Certifications in SQL Server services / Database. Experience with Sharepoint and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
