Test Lead and Verification Lead with Siebel and Airline exp Dallas, TX Must have tested in a Siebel CRM project and we are looking for specifically someone who has experience with Siebel Loyalty Module. If assigned as Verification Lead, performs verification activities as defined by the CTD Leadership. Verification role analyzes, reconciles, measures, and reports findings on pre-determined deliverables that may affect validation efforts. Other responsibilities of a Verification Lead are: Coordinates communication among other testing specialists to ensure analysis of deliverables are completed prior to a tollgate Identifies project risks and gaps to upper management, which may include impact on current/existing technologies and future direction in the industry or within our client Evaluates alternative operational efficiencies and process changes for CTD and communicates those to Leadership Assists in conducting team building/development activities Coaches, mentors, and trains as appropriate Contributes to performance appraisals for team members Test Lead role for the testing efforts of application projects, the responsibilities include: Develops testing strategy and communicates plan to management, peers, application project team and other stakeholders Communicates project information to all test team members and managers, as appropriate Coordinates testing activities among other testing specialists to ensure schedules are met Tracks and reports on issues and solutions and escalates as appropriate, recommends and obtains resolution. Monitors and tracks delivery of quality control and takes corrective action as appropriate Ensures that client and functional requirements are met Ensures client and functional requirements for sponsor are validated Provide guidance in the completion of tasks Communicates testing risks to CTD and IT Project Management, and develops possible mitigation strategies Contributes to performance appraisals for team members Makes presentations to IT management, sponsors, and/or vendors. *Performs other duties as assigned Minimum 6 years experience creating test cases, test harnesses and/or scripts Minimum 6 years software testing (functional, integration, system, and/or automation) Minimum 6 years data analysis - ability to understand Logical and Physical Data Models Minimum 6 years working within a heterogeneous platform environment (Unix, Mainframe, Windows, etc.). Minimum 4 years experience using Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Minimum 4 years experience working with testing tools, such as Mercury Interactive's Test Director, Winrunner, LoadRunner or Quality Center, Test Factory, Robot. Minimum 3 years experience in developing test automation strategies and its implementation. Minimum 1 year SQL scripting.• Basic understanding of Essbase/Cubes Extensive understanding of various standards of Systems Development Life Cycle processes and the integration points of the Testing Life Cycle processes within it. Proven aptitude in reconciling business requirements with testing requirements. Demonstrated coordination, team leadership, presentation, estimating and evaluation skills. Ability to comprehend high levels of complex details Ability and willingness to tactfully challenge assumptions, and coordinate skilled team resources to document and communicate concerns.
