Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills Exceptional troubleshooting skills Able to work without supervision Ability to multi-task Consistent work habits Can be relied on to complete tasks, and document all work performed Education Requirements; Minimum industry certifications MCSE 2003, OR MCTS Server (Windows, Exchange or SQL), OR MCITP Minimum Skills: Excellent verbal and written and customer service skills Minimum 5 year experience, SOLID AND VERIFIABLE, with implementation, administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 and Active Directory Must have strong hands-on networking experience, SOLID AND VERIFIABLE 2 years SQL Server basic administration skills required Minimum 2 years hands-on experience implementing and administering Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010. Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with virtualization (VMWare and HyperV) Minimum 2 years hands-on experience working with SAN solutions Minimum 2 year Share Point Server support required Hands-on experience in backup technologies, backup support/maintenance a MUST Hands-on experience with supporting windows clients in a network environment Must have desire to learn new technologies through self-study and vendor relationships Excellent time management skills, documentation skills, and ability to work independently required Scripting skills a plus Experience working with Windows Small Business Server a plus ALL SKILLS MUST BE SOLID AND VERIFIABLE Primary Responsibilities: Work as a consultant with clients in the Dallas area to support primarily Microsoft networks, servers and desktops. Manage system and/or network issues to resolutions within the client base Manage new installations and migrations Identify ways to improve our clients' systems and infrastructure (upgrades to hardware, software, and network) Perform network administration including installing, configuring and supporting file and print services. Exchange email system, SQL Server, SharePoint and Active Directory management. Remotely respond to alerts, resolve server/network issues remotely. Drive to client sites to resolve onsite issues. Manage Kaseya management system; create/push desktop/server scripts for optimization and monitoring. Provide technical support on a wide variety of issues focused around Windows Server environments down to the end user level. Work with assigned clients to determine support needs, priorities, network and desktop management tasks. Manage our client network/server proactive monitoring system. Setup, manage and monitor backup systems for clients. Enter ticket information into company ticketing systems. Troubleshoot issues over the phone or remotely using our management tools and go onsite to client sites as needed. Manage internal IT management software system, patch management tools and PSA tools. Implement and manage Active Directory, backup solutions, Antivirus. Develop proactive maintenance plans, light project planning, proposal development and presales support. Onsite projects will require local travel to customers in the DFW area. Work evenings and weekends as needed for on-call support, after-hours implementations, patch management and client support. Work as a team to provide technical leadership to junior network administrators. Job requires onsite travel to DFW based customer sites. Performs, other Sr. Network Administration and all other duties as assigned. You Must: Have strong personal drive, be willing to learn and grow. Be able to work as a team member and willing to share information. Job requires some travel, to DFW based customer sites. Be available on nights/weekends/after-hours. Have reliable transportation. Valid Drivers License.
