I need to search two databases, “NewsDatabase1” and “NewsDatabase2” for newspaper articles containing a firm’s name or stock ticker. The database short names are “N1” and “N2”, respectively. These identifiers will be needed to write the Perl program. I would like to search all newspapers/sources across time for each firm/ticker. The firm names and stock tickers will be provided in CSV file. I have a sample program written but it does not work perfectly. Please see detailed requirements. This text box limits the number of characters that can be pasted into it.
