Helpdesk Level 1 PRS3496 Location: Hartford, CT Length: 12 months Type of Contract: Temporary to Hire All positions are going to be for off hour’s work either: 1) Weekend Hours (Saturday/Sunday) 12 hour Shifts 2) 2nd and 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday) Job Details Windows 7 experience and Microsoft Office 2010 suite of products familiarity strongly preferred. Help Desk experience preferred. General IT acumen / knowledge preferred. Experience using Remedy preferred. Experience using SharePoint 2010 preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills required. Provides customer and technical support through analysis and problem solving to facilitate installation, implementation, maintenance, education, and documentation of a variety of computer and software technologies utilizing remote communication with the end user. Will also assign trouble ticket number and escalate for more difficult problems. May be opportunities to get involved with customer and technical support utilizing Social Collaboration tools (i.e. message boards, chat, etc.).
