Receptionist/Telephonist
Receptionist/Telephonist London Law Firm £20k-£23k DOE Great opportunity for a Receptionist with experience of (or an interest in) working within the legal sector to join this Top 100 Law firm on a fixed term contract until January 2013. The Receptionist is expected, on a daily basis, to create a positive working relationship with the firm's clients, fee-earners, secretaries, support staff, and other members of the team with whom they work. Working within a team of 3 the role will support the busy reception area on a rota basis, including seven meeting rooms and a busy switchboard. The reception team are the first point of contact for the firm's clients, and provide a full range of reception services including meeting room bookings, preparing meeting rooms, undertaking administration tasks and arranging lunch/refreshment bookings. Key Skills and Core responsibilities will include: - * Providing a professional 'meet and greet' service to the firm's clients. * Liaising with all levels of management and staff on the arrival of clients. * Dealing efficiently and quickly any client queries and requests. * Maintaining confidentiality and security of all information. * Interpreting instructions correctly and act upon them. * Working with the team to efficiently cover switchboard and reception duties. * Supporting client activities and requirements in a proactive manner. The desired candidate will preferably have proven experience of working in a reception and switchboard environment, ideally within a law firm and have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. Experience of working on a switchboard would be advantageous and having an understanding of the client support service role in professional services will be key. The Receptionist is the face of the firm so all applicants will be expected to be able to present themselves in a professional and positive manner and be comfortable in liaising with a varying level of staff and clients on a daily basis.
