We are seeking an organization that is proficient in website programming and design for our social media based website. They must have adequate experience in building high end and complex websites with the addition of being proficient in: PHP, MySQL, HTML, and other essential functions. The website must be able to operate in all website browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera, Mozilla). We are seeking an organization that is willing to work very closely with us, especially during important times within the project, and maintain contact with us after the project has been completed as additional work may be needed (e.g. updates to the website, mobile application). We will also need very basic stock images produced for our content, such as: a smiley face, invite peer button, add peer button, thumbs up, and so forth. We would like our website to be developed within a 40 day period but we are flexible on the time frame. Please indicate the expected time for completion, the expected cost, and the preferred method of payments for your services (e.g. 20% upfront, 10% per milestone, 20% after the website has been completed) based on the description below in order to be considered for this project. Once again, this information can be projections so we have a sense of what to expect. We have a layout of our website design and a document containing all the features and functionality of the website. Our website contains the following features: • The ability for a user to create a profile and have their own page through registering and signing in. They will then have the ability to engage in the activities listed below: o Invite peers to the website through sending an invitation using a Facebook dialogue. o Invite users to "connect" within our website, which will then be located in a peers list. Within this they have the ability to "unconnect" from their peers and view all their peers. o Ability to submit content on their page, create categories to organize their content, and move content from one category to another. Users will also have the capacity to delete their own post. o Enter demographics and a short blurb. Demographics pertain to their location, age, gender, full name. o Receiving notifications of either their peers posting content or interacting with their post (e.g. liking, commenting, reposting). o Edit their profile through a settings page in terms of changing their username, changing their password, and changing their profile picture. • Ability for someone to repost, comment, flag as inappropriate, or "like" a users' comment and/or post. • View other profiles and peers through a search engine, which will be based on tags that is similar to YouTube. • Creating and updating a poll and a short question that users can answer. • Posting ads • General information regarding our organization, such as: contact us, privacy policy, terms and conditions, copyright and trademark, and the ability to provide feedback. • Integration of analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to the pages of the website. Pinterest and Facebook are prime examples in terms the functionality of our website. It is however in greater similarity to Pinterest due to its simplicity and lack of functions.
