Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problem. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Completes and maintains security and integrity controls. Prepares program documentation of product components. Prepares the mining, processing, analyzing and interpreting data and information from large databases or warehouses. Requirements Requirements: • 4-5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with considerable background in debugging Server and Client issues. • Substantial Oracle Data Guard expertise. • Experience with Oracle Server and Client installations. • Oracle database migration experience on production systems. • 3-5 years of experience in databases, C and/or ProC programming. • Proficient in SQL, SQL+ and/or PL/SQL. • Perl programming expertise. • Experience scripting using ksh. • Windows and AIX platform experience. • Strong technical oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently, identify root causes of issues, work with team to identify solutions, and drive problems to resolution. Ideal candidates would have the following skill set: • Oracle ASM knowledge. • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate. • Knowledge of Oracle RAC cluster databases. • Solaris and Red Hat Linux platform experience. • Oracle Forms and Oracle Fusion environment prowess. • Oracle Enterprise manager grid control knowledge. • Experience with Oracle Performance tuning.
