Windows Engineer Modis is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill a contract role as a Windows Engineer. Qualifications: , Minimum 5 years experience in an enterprise engineering role with primary ownership of the design and development of deployment technologies and best practices for Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 , Experience creating solutions to automate installation, configuration, and management of multiple software applications (e.g., OS, virus software, security policies, performance monitoring packages, etc.) within an enterprise server environment , Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and server management in an environment of 200+ servers and 10,000 Active Directory Objects , 2+ years experience deploying and managing VMware products and using those products to support Windows and Linux instances , Advanced understanding of Windows Server patch management techniques and principles , Experience with modifying Windows through the use of WMI and the registry to conform with published enterprise standards and requirements , Windows Server 2008 certifications desired; MCSE on Windows 2003 a plus , Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills with the ability to participate in and lead team based engineering projects , Must work well in a dynamic team that is geographically dispersed **To apply, please send resumes as a word document to michael.gross@modis.com
