An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Finance Manager to join our client, a blue chip retail organisation based in Basingstoke. A new high profile and challenging role responsible for co-ordinating and preparing management accounts, annual budget, rolling forecast, regulatory and financial reporting requirements. To undertake analysis to ensure actuals, forecasts and plans are robust Key responsibilities -Consolidation and co-ordination of the process for forecasts, operating plans and management accounts according to the timetable set out (P&L's, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow). -Undertake appropriate analysis and tracking to ensure forecasts and plans are robust including capx and exceptionals -Ensure the relevant restatement takes place for any organisation structure change run off and overhead recharges -Work with the BU's to develop the balance sheet and cash flow understanding. -Production of relevant packs including monthly trading updates and adhoc presentations as required -Working with the wider finance teams to continually improve processes and automate reporting including the production of the annual stats -Production of relevant regulatory and compliance reporting requirements including FSA returns -Align and simplify legal entity structure including the consolidation company structure -Liaise with the external auditors re interim and year end audits. -Liaise with the tax team to ensure appropriate information is gathered and fed into the forecast model -Develop operational cash flow reporting and work along side the Treasury function to develop cash reporting and treasury processes. -Review accounting policies and control processes including balance sheet reconciliation traffic light reports If you are interested in the role of Interim Finance Manager please do not hesitate to contact The Southampton Team directly on 02380 233977 Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
