Looking for a senior level subject matter expert in Finance, Controllership and Finance Operations, Finance Reporting and Systems. Candidates will possess a background in high tech Finance and financial systems. Position will report to Enterprise Applications Director with dotted line reporting to the Corporate Controller. The position will be very visible to CFO staff and will attend Finance and other leadership staff meetings regularly. Position will be responsible for strategy, process designs, information model and solutions designs for global Finance systems. The position will work closely with peer Business Systems Analysis leaders and business subject matter experts in establishing integrated process, measurement, information and systems solutions. Candidates must possess strong subject knowledge in Finance process, operations, information and systems. Education and work experience in Finance roles (Controller, Auditor, Analyst) is highly desirable. Experiencing leading major Finance Systems solution design and implementation projects, including leading Finance sub-projects of major ERP implementations is highly desirable. Strong Project Management skills and leadership abilities are absolutely essential for this position. Deep expertise in Finance ERP modules, consolidation modules, Planning and Budgeting modules, Cost modules, and Finance aspects of Operations modules is important. Experience in design of information models, custom financial analysis objects, integration solutions (SOA) and data mart/Analytics solutions is critical. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with Finance Stake holders. Share best business practices. Design flexible and efficient global financial processes in the areas of AR, AP, GL, Asset Management, Revenue Recognition, Controlling and Consolidation. Lead the financial track and highlight any risk/issues in timely fashion. Work with other stake holders to manage the risk on the project Ensure to provide day-to-day support and improving overall system and processes Provide necessary updates in the IS leadership meeting Work with Finance department on necessary SOX and financial audits. Manage the overall project portfolio in the financial area. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS: At least 15 years in business systems and process. Demonstrated experience in participating and/or leading business process re-engineering with structured methods (Lean, Six Sigma, other) is extremely beneficial High tech industry experience and strong working knowledge of common high tech business requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service and Engineering Bachelors/Masters in Finance or Computer Science with strong business education and experience is ideal. MBA is highly desirable. Implementing Middleware platforms and frameworks, especially involving systems-level constructs Highly available, scalable and secure on-premise enterprise deployments with large-scale experience with delivering applications within a cloud/SAAS/multi-tenancy environment. Designing and implementing integration solutions both on-premise and in the cloud. Prior senior level experience managing architect groups, large-scale commercial systems implementations, business consulting and industry best practice consulting are highly beneficial. Your deep experience in developing, integrating and leading large-scale ERP, EAI, SOA-based enterprise solutions will be very useful. Experience with business intelligence, analytics and complex financial consolidation models (eg. Hyperion, ESSbase, Cognos). Ability to write and present clearly in complex challenge areas. Ability to develop critical thinking and innovative solutions in collaboration with clients and peers.
