Our client is currently looking for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to work on the recreation and build of our Healthcare Client's new external website. Most of the testing is manual, but they want to move to automated processes and are looking for the candidate to be vocal and implement their own automated processes. Responsibilities include: - Create test strategy, test plans, test cases, test data, and test results memo - Report, track defects, and create bugs report using defect tracking system - Update and maintain test plan and test result documentation - Communication and reporting of the QA process and status through test management tools - Work effectively and collaboratively with the QA team, development teams, project managers, business analysis team, and business users - Participates in peer reviews of project deliverables - Assist in the development and improvement of QA processes and methodology - Assist in the development, evolution, execution and continuous improvement of our QA capabilities, competencies, efficiencies and delivery quality Required Experience: - B.S. in Computer Science or other equivalent degree or experience - 3+ years of related experience or extensive quality assurance/testing experience required - Knowledge of the quality assurance methodologies for software development, including tools, methods, planning, design, and implementation - Experience developing, writing, and executing written test plans - Ability to see the high level picture in testing a product and find loop holes where the product has not been tested and provide timely inputs to the test manager - Experience in the development and implementation of applications for web and client-server based environments - Understanding of key business applications involving large scale data collection and information management - Working knowledge of object oriented, database and rapid development techniques - Understanding of multiple IT technical platforms, and application development methodologies - Strong in Excel and SQL query -Experience with Selenium and LoadRunner - Experience with HP QTP automated testing tools a plus - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment - Very strong attention to detail - Excellent written and oral communication skills Join TEKsystems() and get your career on the fast track.
