Job Title: Inventory Support Analyst Salary: T.B.C Department/ Business Unit: Internal Operations/Inventory Grade: T.B.C Reports to: In ventory Manager Location: Lantec-UK Ltd Responsible for: Contact: Richard Desborough Employee Signature__________________Line Manager Signature_____________ Date:______________ Main Purpose of Role Responsible for specific range/s of inventory control, track ing and stock levels within Lantec UK Ltd . To help ensure Lantec UK is the No1 service provider of choice in the IT Services marketplace. Key Accountabilities · To m aintain and improve all processes in line with the C ompany’s quality assurance practices; · To m onitor and report KPI ’s within agreed timeline s ; · To ensure Company policies are adhered to at all times; · To ensure the safe and secure storage and id entification of all stock items; · To ensure departmental tasks are carried out and completed accurat ely ; · To ensure the location of inventory items is established and tracked during all movements and transactions ; · To ensure there is full tracking, traceability and audi t trail for all inventory items; · To ensure all C ompany H ealth & Safety policy’s are adhered to on site; · To act as the C ompanies representative for inventory matters in cluding direct customer contact; · To carry out any other duties which may r easonably be expected/requested. Key Performance Measures /Indicators · Performance of the function is “Tracked, Ranked a nd Published” on a weekly basis; · All work undertaken is correctly documented for monitoring purposes ; · Participation in training to obtain the necessary training/qualifications and skills . Job Environment · Office based · Warehouse based Work Pattern Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week normally between the hours of 8am and 6pm Flexibility is requi red to meet demands of the job role Education and Qualifications · Educated to a high standard of general education (essential); · Educated to “A” level or equivalent (desirable); · HND in operational management Knowledge · Understanding of current relevant Health and Safety / Fire Legislation; · Understanding of administration procedures ; · Customer Service . Skills · Ability to work to short deadlines a nd rapidly changing priorities; · D eveloped interpersonal/ communi cation skills; · Ability to analyse data, effectively using problem-solving skills and creating reports; · Initiative and decision making skills; · Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure and manage time appropriately; · Ability to identify important issues or problems and escalate appropriately; · Proficient in in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Access/databases; internet & E -mail ; · Commercial Skills/awareness – e.g. business processes and relationships; managing risks & costs; value for money . · Experience · Minimum of 1 years experience in a busy high pressured commercial environment ; · Minimum of 1 years experience in a logistic s environment.
