Job Description QA Analyst (ETL / Data Ware House Tester) Newark, DE QA Analyst (ETL / Data Ware House Tester) One of our Fortune 100 financial clients is looking for a QA Analyst (ETL / Data Ware House Tester) to work out of their Newark, DE location. RESPONSIBILITES : Design and implement automation framework for web, windows and terminal emulators based applications Practice automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability Work closely with Application developers and testing team to identify automation requirements in early stage Analyze manual test cases to evaluate the feasibility of automation Design and implement scripts to cover all functionality in the most efficient manner Design and implement an automated regression test infrastructure that will support comprehensive testing Conduct R & D to evaluate open source tools Use latest technologies, tools, and techniques to develop automation and test management frameworks / tools Develop automated smoke, functional, and regression test suites for GUI, Database backend and for batch related test cases Maintain and extend test coverage along with creating appropriate tools, utilities, and automation scripts that assist in functional testing and to create test data (e.g. creation of excel macros, developing small utilities etc.,) Troubleshoot for any problems during automation execution / UAT Perform Automation execution as well as manual test execution as needed Supporting the Testing Team with developing some useful macros using Excel Understand software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements. Create Automation Test suites and supports test execution. Preparation of User guide manuals any process related documents. Education: Should be graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g. B.Sc, B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,) Mandatory Experience: Minimum 5 years of software testing/development experience with 3+ years of Automation development Understanding of formal software test design techniques Testing Script development experience using any Testing Tools (QTP, WinRunner, Silk etc.,) Experience in designing and implementing automation framework (front end and backend) for large scale applications. Experience with developing function libraries and product independent scripts from specifications. Experience in developing test tools to improve productivity of test scripts development and execution.
