The Data Architect is required is required t o support the Lead Data Architect to ensure the programme and project data architecture is in line with Services Data Architecture strategies policies and standards. Essential Skills Education and Experience Good understanding of the principles and practices of Data Architecture and experience of working within defined Data Architecture Frameworks and processes: Good understanding of HMG strategies, policies and standards in relation to delivering IT systems. Good expertise in the area of Data Architecture of systems for medium to large organisations Good expertise in the area of Datamodelling at a conceptual, logical and physical level Demonstrable ability to plan, organise and prioritise competing and diverse workloads with high level of self motivation and ability to work on own initiative Demonstrated skills in building relationship and networks with people at all levels, and high levels of skills to influence people in an effective and diplomatic manner Good understanding of key technologies (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Knowledge of public/education sector would be an advantage For further information please get in touch to discuss further.
