Quality/process Manufacturing Engineer Cleveland, TN Our West Michigan client is looking for the right candidate to fill a longer-term contract position as a Quality/Process Manufacturing Engineer at their Tennessee facility. Day to day duties: The process engineer will develop a strong working knowledge of products and quality requirements and will apply it to high end products to improve quality. The engineer will analyze data to determine where to work on improvements. Responsibilities include analyzing service call data as well as internal quality metrics, using the results to begin projects for quality improvements, problem solving and working with quality and technology departments to drive projects. The engineer will work directly with quality and technology to investigate issues and communicate findings. Additional responsibilities are to support daily manufacturing processes in assembly, provide direction to manufacturing techs, support product pilot projects, lead cost improvements, and implement lean manufacturing methodology throughout the area of responsibility. The engineer must be goal-oriented and able to work as part of a team.
