Key Responsibilities: Perform all functions associated with the design, implementation and maintenance of SQL Server databases including security, back-up, logging, reporting and recovery procedures Manage all technical aspects of the databases and processes Act as the central point of focus for all database needs and issues Manage data from multiple sources Maintain and improve database operational efficiency Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data maintenance tasks Assist in developing feeds to Data Warehouse Provide data to support various reporting requirements Configure devices Assist in data management processes Transform data via standardization, cleaning, data repair, matching, and de-duping Lead Database Analysts, delegate tasks, and validate design work performed by Database Analysts Perform other duties as assigned or necessary Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years experience in Information Technology Minimum of 5 years experience in Database Administration for MS SQL Server, including responsibility for database security Minimum of 4 years experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques Minimum of 4 years experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Minimum of 4 years experience with backups, restores and recovery models, as well as High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MS SQL Server Minimum of 4 years experience in implementing operational automation using scripts Preferred Qualifications: MCTS, MCITP, MVP certification Knowledge of RDBMS Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices Bachelor’s Degree Professional Skills: Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
