Healthcare Project Manager Santa Fe, NM Primary Job Functions: Oversees research analysis, evaluation and reporting on all aspects of assigned projects. Develops project objectives, strategies, timetable, cost/benefit analysis, resource assessments and requirements. Provides leadership as primary contact, project manager and facilitator/advisor for clients process improvement team and rapid process redesign teams and initiatives. Develops relationships with key decision-makers to ensure sponsorship of projects and alignment of regulatory requirements and corporate goals. Successfully executes Lean Six Sigma and/or related methodologies with staff and teams to achieve process improvement and the accompanying corporate goals and targets. Gathers data, analyzes metrics, and participates in the documentation and measurement of processes, work loading, turnaround time, and throughput analysis. Provides project status reports & other reports as directed. Responsible for managing Clients Business Plan on time and on schedule. Expectations to be coordinated or escalated in conjunction with the Functional Manager and Project Sponsor. Performs other functions as required. Minimum Skills/Requirements: At least 7 years experience in Project Management, Black Belt preferred. Requires substantial creativity to devise new and innovative practices to meet project management goals by leading cross-functional teams to meet deliverables within tight time frames. Defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling processes. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Experience in team leadership of cross-functional units with proven record of meeting project time lines. Excellent interpersonal communication skills required. Must be a proven user of measurement tools to evaluate effectiveness of project outcomes. Requires in-depth knowledge of all areas of a managed care organization and project management. Bachelors degree, Masters preferred. Must have experience in one of the following 3 areas of Healthcare Project Management: Medicaid Long Term Care Behavioral Health
