Sr. .Net Developer
Senior .NET Developer needed! The candidate will be responsible to define technologies, frameworks, processes, and an overall architecture approach to respective .Net projects and web applications across Publishers Clearing House. The candidate can also act as a team lead on projects, providing guidance and leadership to other team members. This candidate will interface with both Business and Technology. The candidate will also have opportunity to be back-up to Mgr when out of office. Work Performed: Collaborate and interface with Marketing Leads, Product Owners, and/or Technology teams to help drive technology approach and solutions Design, architect, and development of .Net frameworks for Team use (hands-on coding) Collaboration with other Tech Leads on SOA strategy across projects Assisting Agile teams in implementing Agile best practices, such as TDD, CI, Automation Deployments, Unit Testing best practices, Pair Programming etc Train new technologists Collaborate on infrastructure Experience Required: Bachelors degree in a technology discipline required. Advanced degree preferred. 7+ years technical experience in designing applications and physical architectures for enterprise level, mission critical systems. Experience in Agile Application Development and Scrum methodologies. The candidate must be proficient in the following technologies: C#, .NET Framework (thru 3.5), ASP.NET, ADO.NET, NHibernate – The candidate must have successfully created large scale .Net web applications using these technologies without the use of code generation engine. UI development on Microsoft Platform: Windows Forms, WCF, ASP.NET MVC Design Patterns: MVP, MVC, Supervising Controller, Event Aggregator. Asynchronous mechanisms of model presentation Database – SQL Server (thru 2008), ability to create highly optimized stored procedures and SQL structures Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) The candidate must be very strong in the following technologies: HTML, DOM, XML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, Ajax – The candidate must have solid level knowledge and experience.
