Social Media Assistant
Seeking an energetic social media assistant for occasional on-site work + telecommuting. We released our not-for-profit mobile app to help people give and share more with their friends and family (clothes, tools, books, etc.) and the response has been very positive. Next month we're going to start piloting the app with charities, non-profits and other organizations so they can get the resources they need from within their community instead of buying it. We need an intern to help manage the on-line and off-line communications as we build our community of givers and sharers. Tsks include: *Writing and responding to users, community groups and other volunteers *Updating the blog - writing articles, editing guest bloggers, uploading photos *Maintaining the FB page - daily posts, responding to messages *Attending events and helping spread the word. There's potentially much more... this is an opportunity to create your own role with the aim to help people give and share more with the people they care about. The more you dive right in and make it happen, the more likely you'll be hired full time at the end of the Fall internship. Some previous experience in any capacity to handle any of the basic tasks listed above is appreciated. Most important, tell us why you'd make a good social media intern / community manager. Thanks!
