The specific responsibilities includes providing day-to-day support for internal customers, developing basic and complex automation scripts/solutions using QuickTest Professional (QTP), testing basic and complex scripts, troubleshooting existing scripts/components and performing all required automation tasks in order to deliver and support the highest quality solutions possible. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, professional, motivated, proactive individual with a passion for problem solving and making things efficient. Education: o Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent required Minimum Experience: o 6-8 years or equivalent experience required o 5+ years of experience working for large corporation in a software testing and/or quality assurance role (preferably at the enterprise level) o 3+ years of Quick Test Pro (QTP) experience – record & playback function, creation and management of object repositories and descriptive programming o 2+ years of hands on experience in full lifecycle implementation, customization and execution activities o Extensive knowledge of Quality Center and Business Process Testing o Experience designing and developing custom test automation frameworks o Advanced knowledge of Quality Center API and QTP Automation Object Model o Strong development skills in VBScript o Experience in designing and developing applications using C++/C#/Java o Strong Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Unix o Experience with both front end and backend testing o Proficiency in standard suite of office productivity tools like Microsoft Office products, web browsers and file systems Required Skills: o Advanced: HP Quality Center, HP Quick Test Pro, VBScript o Intermediate: SQL, JavaScript, C#/Java/C++, UNIX, XML
