Job Details: Position: Pl/Sql Developer Location: New York City, NY Duration: 5+ Months Job Description: KEYS TO THIS POSITION Technology requirements with experience Oracle PL/SQL (definitely required) 8 years + SQL Tuning 4 years + Oracle Deployment/Upgrade scripts 4 years + Development in Unix, Linux Env 4 years + Control-m 2 years + Finance (definitely required) 2 years + SVN Version control 1 years + Business Objects or OBIEE 1 years + - Ability to utilize programming methodologies and languages - Efficient coding i.e. adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques - Effective analysis of new and existing applications and platforms - Clear communication and documentation of technical specifications Responsibilities -Demonstrate strengths in analysis, design and implementation of large projects at major financial corporation(s), particularly in areas of Oracle PL/SQL, Unix and control-m programming - Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within technology environments - Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for high performance, scalable, extensible applications - Contribute to the technical code documentation - Design, develop, and implement code - Implement fixes and enhancements - Create Test Plans, Test Cases and perform unit and integration testing - Support existing applications - Work on Batch related changes using Pl/SQL and Unix. - Work on Basel related changes using Pl/SQL and Unix. - Work on continues improvements to support on-going business - Involved in full life cycle of project - Good Technical Writing skills - Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills For incidents and user inquiry to be able to understand the nature of the problem from business point of view, or if the issue is IT related – from the technology side using one or more of the following technologies: UNIX, Oracle DB, Java, JSP Mukesh Mukesh@neelinfo.com
