GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity in Lake Oswego, OR for a Tax Implementation Technical Specialist. This would be a Four month contract to start out.   Job Description: We are currently seeking a self-motivated Tax Implementation Technical Specialist with project experience including: Requirement Gathering, Software Configuration, Testing, Tax Research, and Customer Communication both Written and Oral. Candidate will work closely with senior tax & technical staff to implement enterprise tax software.   Responsibilities: -Gather Tax and Technical integration requirements -Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues -Support customers during testing -Provide status updates to clients, team members, and management -Design implementation plan for new product line which will include: Project plan, training material, test plan, working with development and product management teams to resolve product defects. -Customer satisfaction   Required - Minimum Experience and Skills: -Required - Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Computer Science or relevant education -1-4 years of customer facing work experience or advanced degree -Relevant work experience includes: consulting, tax, accounting, legal research, financial analyst, business systems analyst or similar experience -Exposure to SUT or VAT concepts -Strong written and oral communication skills -Technical aptitude: general computer use, Microsoft Office, financial applications, understanding of database concepts (MS Access or SQL Server) a plus   Additional Experience and Skills: -Experience working with financial applications such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP B1. -Experience working with 3rd party tax management (bolt-on) solutions -Foreign languages desirable Spanish, Portuguese -Some travel may be expected although not part of normal activity for this position
