Title: BI Developer Type: Contract, 3-6 months Location: Atlanta, GA 30326 Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer for a 3-6 month contract in the Atlanta-Buckhead area. The BI Developer will serve as the primary developer for all client's hosted databases and applications. This includes developing stored procedures, utilizing views and schemas, designing and building reports using SSRS, deploying reports to SharePoint, and delivering ad hoc reports in a very fast paced environment. BI Developer Responsibilities: Create and maintain user manuals and technical documentation Create database queries, indexes and stored procedures, some with a high degree of complexity Responsible for all aspects of application development including: discovery, design, testing plan, implementation, support & maintenance Project management providing time estimates by task using Gantt charts or other format Work with all parties involved on projects to gather requirements and distill down to a comprehensive, manageable undertaking Understand the business application of each project Work with analysts utilizing client's reporting tools to set up custom reports as needed (Omniture, Dart Search, Google Analytics, Keyword Max, etc.) Create any custom reports & dashboards as needed for routine reporting or custom ad hoc reporting Work with analysts for regular weekly data audits Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Information Systems or similar 3 + years creating extremely complex Stored Procedures and ad hoc queries Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 (SSIS and SSRS) Knowledge of SSRS in SharePoint Integrated Mode 3+ years creating reports in SSRS 2008 2+ years of experience with SSIS 2008 Functional knowledge of OLAP and experience in SSAS 2008 Comfortable using existing ETL processes or documenting new ETL processes by data source Experience creating and using SQL Server Agent alerts Experience using Team Foundation Server Please contact John Wagner.
