The key focus for the role is to ensure the businesses have effectively designed controls and that these controls operate effectively. This is the perfect role for an individual with strong retail banking experience, SOX / Sarbanes Oxley consultancy experience, and SOX management experience. The daily rate on offer is �350 per day, and the contract length is 6 months. Additional Information Occasional travel within theUK will be required. Skills Key accountabilities The role requires you to be a finance / Sox specialist with strong business analysis / control skills, auditing skills and extensive finance and/or business knowledge. The role will entail: * Test the controls throughout the year and agree the results with the businesses * Working with the Sub Process / control owners to agree the controls needed... * Document the processes and identify the key controls * Obtain sign off from control / sub process owners. * Manage Sox significant changes. Participate in Sox significant projects * Establish and maintain business relationships with all stakeholders Knowledge of Retail Banking business areas as well as Sox and or auditing experience would be an advantage. Important skills * Analytical skills * Change Management - awareness of project lifecycle * Oral and written communication Keyboard/software applications and Procedural/Product/Specialist knowledge, in order of priority: * Experience of Microsoft including Visio would be advantageous. * Finance knowledge - qualified Accountant would be preferable or extensive on the job experience within a Retail Finance function.
