Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Instructional Designer for a minimum 3-month contract opportunity with a company in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will lead and complete large-scale, client-driven projects. Communicate with clients and customers to determine their needs or requirements. Develop, design, and implement improved business processes or solutions to meet consumer expectations. Responsibilities include: Create and manage project plans for team deliverables. Work with team members to create major milestones and due dates for projects. Follow the ADDIE model to conduct research, perform needs analysis, analyze/interpret data and present findings in accurate, concise and logical sequence. Select the appropriate instructional design strategies when appropriate and to develop solutions based on analysis. Support internal team during platform usability testing; interview participants, collect and analyze data and prioritize findings based on criticality. Support internal team during learner preference studies; interview participants, collect, analyze and report out on data. Collaborate with internal team, LDSG partners, and customers, where appropriate, based on project needs. Effectively work with internal team to meet deadlines and schedule. Attend and contribute to project team meetings. Develop training interventions to support projects such as Usability and Learner preference studies in at least one of the following modalities: o Instructor Led Training o Web Based Training o Virtual Classroom o Virtual Collaboration o Distributed learning (such as VoDs) o Performance-support learning deliverables Qualifications BA/BS Degree plus 6 to 8 years relevant experience using ADDIE model to research, analyze findings and work with a team to develop effective solutions to meet the needs of a global audience. Written and verbal including strong instructional writing skills Develop sound instructional materials based on client needs Must be able to apply analytical skills to analyze data from needs analysis Can work independently and within a collaborative team environment. Aware of industry standards (such as SCORM and AICC) and their application in e-learning content development where appropriate. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to quickly grasp assignments, absorb scope of the project/deliverables and produce results to meet project requirements and timelines Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of adult learning concepts and methods core competencies Strong problem-solving skills 8am-5pm EST 40 Hours per week If you are interested in this opportunity or other opportunities available through Adecco Engineering and Technical, please apply online or email directly to tracy.mcgovern@adeccona.com.
