Job Description Consultant - Financial Planning and Analysis Basking Ridge, NJ Position Responsibilities: * Support monthly preparation of consolidated financial outlooks; * Maintain, process, organize, and manage complex financial models and metrics using mainframe interfacing application software such as Hyperion, including extracting data and developing queries; * Consolidate and analyze financial results; * Create charts and tables, and prepare financial reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint; * Enhance outlook packages and schedules to improve reporting structure and timeline * Evaluate and improve consolidated outlooks; * Redesign financial models to include new metrics and organizational changes and ensure timely and accurate reporting; * Perform standard and ad-hoc analysis of historical and forecasted financial data; * Work with IT team to set up templates for annual Commitment View Load process; * Communicate with other departments, business units, managers, directors and vice presidents to request, exchange, and share critical information; * Simplify and make data gathering process more efficient; * Stay current with the latest system improvement. Required Skills & Experience: * Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics and 2 years experience in maintaining, processing, organizing and managing complex financial models and metrics using mainframe interfacing application software. Experience to include therein extracting financial data, developing queries, consolidating and analyzing financial results, creating charts and tables and preparing financial reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
