This Senior Java Software Engineer will design, develop, maintain and test software for the Commercial Credit Risk Rating Scorecard application, collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of BASEL, transition work and application solutions in a dynamic Agile environment. Ability to achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications is needed. Also requires proven track record in Java, J2EE, Java scripting, Weblogic, in a Windows environment, performance tuning, ETL processes, Windows and Linux environments using SQL Server as the primary database. Experience in multiple database platforms is preferred: SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata and Netezza. Talend, Jasper, Actuate and Quick Test Pro experience a plus. Teradata, Actuate, and testing tools experience is a plus. Required Skills: 9+ years of Java application programming experience. 3+ years technology architecture experience. Must have excellent software design, build, test and documentation skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment. Must have excellent organization skills. Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision. Experience with the development models and software development lifecycle (SDLC) model. Able to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business and leadership.
