Primary Purpose: Direct and manage the support/development activities of a team of SAP technical process integration, FICO support developers and analysts for an assigned SAP Section within Application Delivery Services support. The candidate will provide oversight of the SAP Section. Typical responsibilities will include: interfacing with external programs/projects to collect, review and finalize business requirements, performing in-depth analysis related to complex system issues; answering queries; analyzing and developing coding patterns, best practices and standards as it relates to Advance Business Application Programming (ABAP) Landscape NetWeaver, Process Integration, providing functional and ABAP expertise to the SAP Process Integration team; collaborating and reviewing, coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer to ABAP community as well as other standard adapters; leading trouble shooting of critical problems, performance tuning; and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned. This position is also responsible for development and maintenance of documentation for SOX audits and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to lead technical teams, define technical strategy and roadmaps, oversee integration of business solution, technical advisor to project leads and management, serve as point of contact for technical design issues across all functional areas, coordination with key stakeholders. Work as a business/technical consultant with clients, analysts, and team members to develop SAP ERP solutions to meet complex business needs. Assist ADS SAP Section Manager to plan and develop departmental budgets in accordance with established guidelines; administer compliance to meet budgetary goals and negotiate changes as required. Plan and manage the Workload Planning process for your assigned SAP Section. Provide reporting to staff, colleagues, senior management and clients on a regular basis to ensure all relative and critical information is clearly and expeditiously shared. Responsible for assigned personnel regarding employment, career development, performance evaluations, salary recommendations, promotions, transfers and terminations within established policies and guidelines. Review technical and business processes, standards and procedures making recommendations for continuous improvement. Prioritize SAP workload in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ensure reported problems are resolved in a timely manner, tracked according to standards, and escalated problems are resolved as appropriate. Excellent Problem Analysis and troubleshooting skills are required Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts. Manage the support peripheral systems and interfaces related to SAP ERP Solution and ancillary products Possess strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and project management skills to effectively collect requirements, identify alternatives, design and build solutions, ensure quality and measure results. Discuss and implement FICO process improvements, maintain an awareness of functional best practices, and partner with the user community and business user leadership about future technology needs and the development of a technology roadmap Required Skills and Competencies: 2-4 years degree in IT-related curriculum or equivalent education and related work experience 8-10 years of experience or equivalent proficiency in managing people and applications design and development Minimum 4 years experience in application development utilizing ABAP/4. Minimum of 2 years SAP development experience in ECC 6.0 utilizing the new SAP NetWeaver ABAP technologies. Experience with Finance (FI/CO) a plus. Demonstrated experience with large Enterprise ERP implementations in the areas of technical design specification, development, performing Knowledge of Solution manager Service/Help desk. Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and ideas to IT development teams. Experience with SAP archiving and workflow development is a plus. Strong experience with use of adapters, BAPIXML, IDOCs XML, SOAP, JSON, and REST API Strong knowledge of JAVA Coding on PI IDoc Status Management Error Analysis and handling SAP Workflow in ALE environment Experience with exposing SAP Business Objects as Web services, Mainframe integration using CICS adapted, batch processes, JMS Messaging with NetWeaver Process Integration (PI) Has developed, customized, and tested business Processes with NetWeaver Business Process Management Has hands on experience and understanding of business rules and taxonomy on NetWeaver Business Rules Management Has hands on experience with Business Object types and BAPIs SAP Certified Development Associate- Business Workflow with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 a plus.
