Javascript Developer
QUALIFICATIONS: Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. 3-4 years Web application development experience producing commercial-grade applications, specifically in object-oriented JavaScript. Strong software design and development skills. Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Dojo, EXT and YUI. Must be able to constructively contribute to a team environment. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance required. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:. Experience with JSLint or similar code appearance and visual optimization tools. Ability to perform Unit Testing against developed code (JsUnit). Understanding of browser compatibility issues, in particular with Internet Explorer 9 and Google Chrome. HTML5 / CSS3, AJAX / JSON development experience. Experience with short and long term release cycles (Scrum/sprints) and Agile software development. Experience with desktop application development (e.g. WPF). An understanding of ADA Section 508 Compliance. DESCRIPTION: Princeton Information is contracted with a large government agency to replace a collection of legacy applications. We are building Gadget-based framework to develop browser-based workspaces that would provide examiners with cohesive, centralized tools accessible through modern web browsers. By employing JavaScript and frameworks such as Dojo, combined with HTML5/CSS3, Princeton is building a long-term, extensible, consistent and compliant code base to give the client the tools to not only make more accurate evaluations of applications, but greatly reduce the time spent from submission to final decision on inventions. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Design and develop leading-edge software. Work collaboratively with a team of developers in accordance with a design specification to build and deliver high-end software.
