We have an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Architect with Data Center Background to assist with the on boarding of new customers for the Advanced Services team of our enterprise scale client. The strongest candidate will be well versed with data center technologies and capacity planning, with an understanding of architecture in order to drive success. The selected individual will be responsible for talking with stakeholders and defining, documenting and driving the on boarding of new clients into the current automated set of tools. There is currently no standard process of documentation in place so all the operational procedures, documentation, SOPs and required templates will be drafted from scratch. Upon completion of the procedures and documentation, the selected individual will be responsible for continuing to drive the on boarding process and update processes and documentation as required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data centers, hosted data centers and networking to best be able to document process and create templates for the client. * The right individual with have strong experience in Datacenter technologies * Cisco UCS, VMs, NetApp, Networking and NMS technologies. * Well versed in the following data center technologies and capacity planning: storage, compute, network around Vmware, EMC and Cisco technologies. * Familiar with remote monitoring tools, as this individual would have to become Cisco monitoring tools SME so that she/he can represent Cisco confidently to customers. *Strong ability to drive decision making in Datacenter monitoring tools, and can work with Datacenter customers to onboard them into company tools. * Experience in developing process documentation, operational documentation, defining and drafting templates and driving projects from inception through to completion * Prior experience developing individualized on boarding process and documentation for enterprise scale customers into automated tools in a professional services capacity, preferred but not required. * Understanding of data center, hosted data center and networking to be able to support process documentation * Strong leadership skills to interface with customers, and understand their requirements, make recommendations and work with internal team for fulfillment. * Act as a decision making liaison between the customers and the technical/back-end team. * Some project management experience is a plus, in order to be able to plan and interface with the back-end technical team, and to follow-up and ensure completion of order/deployment
