We have $1000 in prizes for any entrepreneur who joins our video contest! http://www.playkast.com/embed/1725?w=520&bc=%3ACCCCCC&ap=0&sli The First Great Creative Generation Contest Rules 1) The rules and terms of the contest: Participants will submit multimedia entries that describe what being creatively entrepreneurial means to them, how they live a creative lifestyle, how they see themselves as an entrepreneur, and why their efforts are beneficial for them as individuals and as members of a larger community. Though doing so is not mandatory, we encourage participants to describe any creatively entrepreneurial projects they are currently engaged in or excited to begin and how a cash prize may further enable their creative dreams. The contest is open to any person aged 14-30 and will run from August 1, 2012 to August 31st. Valid submissions will be between thirty seconds and one minute fifteen seconds in length and will disclose either in the video or the video's description the participant's name, age and background i.e. "I'm Noah, 15 years old, a high school student, and an aspiring animator." Teams are welcome to work on their submission together. Five cash prizes will be awarded total- one prize of $400 to be decided by popular vote and four prizes of $150 each to be decided by the Creative Populist and EnvisionWith.Me panel of judges. At least one of these prizes will be awarded to an entry submitted by a high school student. The contest creators may use any portion of any submission in the future creation of multimedia content designed to promote their mission of encouraging creative entrepreneurship with Millennials. 2) Why we're doing this, and who should be interested; the manifesto for the contest: Creative Populist and EnvisionWith.Me want to give young persons a forum for sharing their creatively entrepreneurial philosophies and projects, to inspire their peers, and generate support and excitement for their own endeavors. Creative Populist and EnvisionWith.Me hope to encourage a wide diversity of participants and submission styles to generate promotional material for an upcoming book that aims to encourage the intentional cultivation of creative entrepreneurship in high school students. The submissions will be used to spread the message that each and every person has creative potential.
