Responsibilities Design and implementation of new features and functions as well re-designs of existing implementations across multiple product applications Implement rapid prototypes of UI/UX design specs Create rapid prototypes using appropriate tools (Balsamiq, Cacoo, Omnigraffle, etc) Code high quality web front-ends using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX Help establish GUI best practices and frameworks for ongoing web development, with a strong focus on Test-Driven Development and Test Automation Must be able to work in a fast paced environment without lots of formal specifications Execute given assignments in a self-directed manner, anticipate issues, and modify procedures as necessary Demonstrate self-initiative and seek assistance when required Qualifications • • 3+ years professional experience as an interactive designer / user experience designer; expertise in both information architecture and visual design • • Demonstrated experience with designing B2B and B2C web applications • • Experience with web and mobile design necessary • • Must have an online or digital portfolio that demonstrates relevant projects • • Solid understanding of how to conduct user research and usability testing • • Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from all team members and areas. • • Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS, JavaScript or similar • • Experience with a wide range of prototyping tools • • Experience with agile/scrum preferred
