Position Description: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the planning and administration of Our Client's Telecommunications. This position is responsible for complex premise distribution systems, which encompass the entire campus and over a dozen off-campus clinics as well. This includes Vertical and Horizontal Copper and Optical Fiber Distribution facilities, as well as equipment for Analog and Digital Communications, and computer, alarm and sensory services. The Telecom Technician is responsible for First-Level restoration of services in response to End User or system problems reported and/or observed and compliance with all FCC and State electrical codes. The Technician also utilizes technical equipment for trouble resolution. The Telecom Technician is responsible for the security of Our Client's technology. Additionally, the Technician must follow the Company's security directives, incorporating security measures in the delivery of everyday tasks, and is required to report security concerns to the Our Client's Security Engineering team. This is an estimated 6-month contingent / temporary position through Volt Technical Resources, located in Portland, Oregon.
